The Work Completion Goals Guide
How to use
"The Work Completion Goals/ Student Helper Guide" This is a guide for when a student starts to fall behind and has missing assignments starting to pile up. Download the file above. Write down the missing assignments from each hour. Decide what is a manageable due date for each assignment. Make sure to be checking the "complete" box as the assignments get submitted on Schoology. Missing assignments should always be completed after doing the homework that was given that day. Don't fall behind on what is happening presently when playing catch up with past assignments. |

The Homework Folder Form
How to use "The Homework Folder Form"
This is to be used similarly to a planner. We recommend printing multiple copies and 3 hole punching the sheets and inserting into a binder or a 3 prong folder. Each day a new sheet should be completed. Write the date, the subject, and any assignments that are meant to be completed as homework. Use the "Today was a..." section as a check-in system. Decide if talking about an "OK" or "Hard" day would be helpful. Notice if there is a pattern of homework not being completed or only some of the homework being completed. If only some or no homework is being completed, a conversation about why needs to happen. Always end the day with something positive. It's good for the brain and overall wellbeing. |
